Havenwood Homestead is a community-focused, regenerative, organic,

family-owned mini-farm in the heart of North Carolina.

We are the only North Carolina based ghee-maker that crafts their ghee

entirely from source-to-shelf. 

Here at Havenwood Homestead, we are committed to living, growing, and

thriving in reciprocity with our natural world and the people around us.

We focus on using sustainable and regenerative land management practices, humane and loving care for our animals, producing small-batch, grade-A quality products, and

empowering our community with knowledge, nutrients, and belonging.

What is “source-to-shelf”?

It means we manage and care for every part of the process that goes into making our foods. Everything from soil and forage to animal health to milking all the way to the effort of processing and crafting the highest quality butter and ghee. We do not out-source our butter like other companies. We want to know every component of our ghee has been meticulously cared for and provides the highest quality nutrients.
